Admitting You Have an Autoship Addiction Problem.
It all starts innocently enough…. You have a need to make extra money, you do some research, you find and join an MLM that sells products that others have told you will generate huge profits, and you sign up for an autoship as a requirement to be an independent distributor of your new found business.
You’re so excited, rejuvenated, ecstatic about your new found financial hope. Your auto ship products come in and you cheerfully open it like a 5 year-old opens presents on Christmas day.
Yes, you see the invoice for $149.99 but so what! This strategically positions you to earn commissions, and Fast Start Bonuses, and maybe even a trip to Hawaii!
You call your sponsor with relentless excitement, “Bob! Bob! I got my auto ship!”
Your Sponsor: “Great. Good for you. Now you’re ready. Two things I need to go over.”
You say, “Yes, Bob?”
“First, make sure you give out samples to everybody you know. Especially your ‘warm market’.
You agree, “Of course. I can’t wait.”
“And if you truly want to maximize your commissions you need to definitely get another 2 cases on your auto ship. ”
“Two more cases,” you ask, “That’s another $149.99 right?”
” Yes it is,” your sponsor says, “but remember you’re maximizing your commissions. And you don’t want to leave any money on the table, do you?”
And so you agree to add two more cases to your auto ship to maximize your commissions. Remember what your sponsor told you ” You don’t want to leave any money on the table”.
And thus starts the beginning to the end.
Relentlessly, the autoships arrives like clockwork, month after month. You manage to squeak out a few sales every month which gives you a feeling of satisfaction, but only if you could make more sales…the possibilities would then be endless.
In the meantime, your extra bedroom, garage, and eventually every extra bit of spare space of your home is filled with boxes and boxes of monthly autoshipments. You notice friends and family come to visit less frequently and when they do it seems to be a struggle to find a place for them to sit. When they leave, you hand them a box of product insisting that they need to take it because it is such a great product, wanting to make sure they don’t run out, and to make a little more room for your next autoship.
What you don’t know is that as soon as they get home your generous gift ends up in the trash with all the other boxes you have given them over the past few months, and the overwhelming concern they are developing about you and your new lifestyle.
Conquering autoship addiction is a day by day struggle.
We know it isn’t easy. Recovery is truly one day at a time. And your MLM sponsor certainly doesn’t make it easy, does he? He or she is constantly requesting you purchase more and more products, and then the website tools, and then the added purchases that qualify you for Plasmas, Trips, and Gold Rolexes.
Temptation is on every corner.
Our Research found that crackheads have a better chance at recovery.
That said, we ask to not lose hope.
We do recover.
And so can you.
But you have to know recovery comes one day at a time.
And though you may find yourself wanting to pick up that phone and upgrade your autoship or even Activate it again we want you to know that there is hope. You can and will end this auto ship addiction. But first you must stop falling for the MLM hype, with the pretty gurus in front of their fancy red Ferraris. You must turn away and run from them.
Yes, many times we fall. Sometimes more than once in a month. But we do get back up. We can not stress the importance of plugging in to a recovery group like the University of Internet Science.
We know the hype is relentless at sucking us in again. We must admit we are powerless. We must let go and let God. Or UOIS.
Our past friends and family members who run from us we can do nothing about. We must understand. Our blatant past bombardment of Jungle Juices, cure-all skin care, and rocket like energy drinks have caused considerable amount of pain. We must accept that and let time begin the healing process. it works–it really does. But a die-hard willingness is the key.
We truly must come to the realization that the road to Auto Ship sobriety is a simply journey for confused people with a complicated bank-draining disease.
We must on a daily basis repeat this affirmation: “Just For Today I will not upgrade my auto ship and not allow my MLM sponsor to weasel himself back in my life. Just For Today I will not log in to my MLM back office. For I do recover One Day At A Time.”
